We are an eleven room Inn and Restaurant at the top of a bluff with unobstructed southern views over the waters of Ship Bay. The Inn is built around the historic 1869 Adam’s farmhouse in the center of heirloom plum, pear and apple orchards.
Inn at Ship Bay is located one mile from the village of Eastsound on Orcas Island, the largest and most mountainous of the San Juan Islands. Join us for a comfortable and relaxing Orcas Island experience.
Originally homesteaded in the 1860’s by Michael Adams the Orchard Farmhouse, with the Inn’s Dining Room, stands at the heart of Inn at Ship Bay. Once a cornerstone of the local Orcas Island agricultural economy, several acres of heirloom apple, pear, and plum orchards still surround the Inn and produce an abundance of fresh fruit that is featured in our seasonal menus.
Our grounds also are graced by the presence of many deer, bald eagles, and other wildlife. We are proud to be stewards of this historic Orcas Island property and are firmly committed to maintaining this very special environment.
Ship Bay showcases, whenever possible; fresh, local, and organic ingredients from around the grounds of the historic Adams Farmhouse. (Other produce comes from Island farms and small farms on the mainland.)
Also available is a selection of beer, wines & cocktail specials. Menu changes frequently, to feature the best of Island bounty.
