I’m Karen Hattman.
I am an observer of nature and thus nature flows through my work.
Watercolor painting is one of my favorite media as I love the immediacy of rendering my vision quickly. I also work in clay and wood to depict my love of nature. My work is primarily of wildlife.
I am a self taught artist and with each piece produced I learn more about the process, art in general and myself. I love the journey of discovery and will continue as long as I am able.
