Forest Ceramic

Forest Ceramic Company is located on Orcas Island, Washington, and owned and managed by Sean Forest Roberts, and run by our tiny team of 6!

With a background in chemistry and four years of work experience in science labs, Sean brings an experimental mindset to the studio.  The basis of the process we currently use began with Sean’s experimentation 9 years ago with marbling and layering and carving colored slips.  Colored liquid clays are mixed and poured to create the vast array of patterns available in our designs.
