A former interior designer with an M.F.A. from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I now live on a small island in the Pacific Northwest. My partner and I built a studio on our land: he is downstairs; I am upstairs.
As a child I began making things of yarn and fabric with my mother & grandmother. Fiber remains my primary medium. These days fabric manifests on a working wall the full width of my studio.
A jewelry fabrication bench has crept into a corner of the studio, feeding my silver design interest.
