Lynda Ransley

Lynda works in a variety of media that includes ink, resin, wood and metal.

Her paintings range from abstract to stylized. Subjects include landscapes, flowers, birds and whimsical sea creatures. Her live-edge furniture is made from native, salvaged wood. Tables and benches highlight the wood’s dramatic grain and form. Finished pieces are often mounted on custom steel bases, created to compliment the wood. Lynda’s steel sculptures feature both abstract and organic forms, and many incorporate contrasting glass elements.

Her work is currently shown in the Whidbey Art Gallery in Langley, the Red Sky Gallery in Lake Forest Park, and on the Orcas Island Artists Studio Tour. She is also available for commissions.
