Nancy Bingham

I have been a studio potter for over forty years, working first in Ann Arbor, Michigan where I got my BFA from the University of Michigan, then in Olympia, Seattle and finally, for the past 26 years on Lopez Island, Washington.  About twelve years ago I began to spend my winters in the small village of Santa Cruz La Laguna, Guatemala and built a small kiln and studio there, as well.

I feel that creating art, teaching others in a way that allows them to experience their creativity, and sharing art work with others is  a beautiful and healthy way to live. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to do this in my life.
